Sarah spent the majority of her life in Friona before moving to San Angelo to be closer to her daughter. Drawn to the medical field, she found purpose in serving others, working for both the local hospital and for dentist Dr. Jon Mack Roden, where she poured her heart into caring for those in need. Sarah married Amado Coronado, a very loving gentleman. They were deeply in love, and one of their most cherished traditions was Amado serenading Sarah, guitar in hand, with beautiful voice, while she cooked—making every meal a perfect reflection of their love. During Amado's own decade-long illness, she poured her love, heart, and soul into his care until his own passing. She was a woman of deep and enduring faith. She was actively involved in her church and played many roles within it. She not only lived her beliefs but instilled them into her children and grandchildren, creating a lasting spiritual legacy. Her love for family was the heart of who she was—always putting her loved ones first, checking in on her grandchildren, and making sure everyone around her felt supported and cared for. Her joyful spirit shone brightest in the everyday moments of life. She delighted in life's simple pleasures—whether it was music, savoring sliced barbecue, or enjoying her favorite ice cream.
